My first line of offense when studying the Word of GOD is the Word of GOD itself. I love just reading a hard copy of the Bible. See My Library Page for my "goto" Bibles and study aids. There are also many excellent resources on the internet for Bible study. I'll list the ones that I use regularly for Bible study resources and inspiration. Each has it's own unique tools that you'll be comfortable with and able to use to further your walk with GOD.

Also very nice for parallel study and comparing different translations or comparing to the original texts.
† Biblos - Biblos.com - Search, read, study the Bible in many languages. Has an extensive list of english versions and other language translations. Also an extesive library from the church fathers, Biblical studies, devotions, apologetics, Christian living, ect.. Looks like a complete Bible application in your browser. Also has a free mobile app.
† BibleGateway - BibleGateway.com - A searchable on-line Bible in over 100 versions and 50 languages. Also has many other study resources and devotions. Also a free mobile app.
† BlueLetterBible - Blue Letter Bible - A great site for Bible translations, study, commentaries, devotions, etc..
† Kretzmann.org - Popular Commentary, by Paul E. Kretzmann - The Popular Commentary of the Bible by Paul E. Kretzmann, Ph. D., D. D., has been a favorite among confessional Lutherans since publication of the first volume in 1921. The four volume work, completed in 1924, consists of nearly 3,000 pages.
